Yvette & Andrew Munro
MARRIED 1 SEPTEMBER 2018
It is said that you never quite know love until it finds you. But once it finds you, you feel like your life is so complete that you never quite come to understand what life was like without your other half. This is so very true for Yvette and Andrew. They met through family friends, and suddenly it was like a lightbulb switched on for them both. Yvette was always looking for a man like Andrew, but never found that man until she met Andrew. And Andrew was seeking someone with a true heart, who was kind, giving and hard-working. Andrew tells us he was most surprised that she was the only woman he’s found that is able to have him part with his money - just goes to show how much Yvette changed his life!
Andrew is the kind of gentleman who brings his lady flowers, chocolates or little gifts without being asked, or having done something wrong. And Yvette returns these gifts in kind. They can both laugh with each other and cry with each other, while still being the other’s strength. They see themselves being able to grow old together…
On their wedding day, they had been together for exactly 3 years and 2 days, not that they are counting! But it was on Valentine’s Day 2017 when Andrew proposed, just over a simple dinner he had cooked for her. Yvette was so surprised, she thought he was joking! It wasn’t until she realised that he was serious that she said “yes” immediately!
Their favourite trip is most definitely their very first one to Melbourne where they created so many memories, and shared beautifully romantic dinner cruises. It just so happens that this fateful dinner cruise turned into a night to remember, leaving them with their funniest memory to date! If you haven’t heard the story, you should ask them! It’s well worth it!!
On their wedding day, we started at the Rydges Capital Hill before making our way to the Chapel at Gold Creek for their ceremony. It was a wonderfully overcast day, making for absolutely gorgeous light. Then we took them to the Pialligo redwood Forest and then the NGA for some awesome shots together before returning to the Rydges for them to celebrate their marriage with all of their family and friends.
