Even though they met in passing a few years prior, it wasn't until they were seated next to each other at a Star Trek convention, 8 years ago, that Sarah & Brett met properly. They spent a lot of their time during that convention talking to each other in between listening to panels and by the end of the day, they both went home to their parents and exclaimed they'd just met their life partners!
They have shared ,many a beautiful memory together including times when they were drowned rats on the beach before a New Year's Eve fireworks display, or when they were locked inside a car park, having to wait several hours before a security emerged to help them leave. Although they were stranded for a while, it wasn't an inconvenience from Sarah's point of view, but rather an opportunity to make the most of - one of the many reasons Brett fell head over heels in love with Sarah.
They have visited many places around the world, but have the fondest memories of France and Germany due mostly to the amazing food they enjoyed while they were there.
A house and two beautiful puppies later, they were hitched at the beautiful Goona Warra Vineyard in Sunbury, Victoria. The day was glorious and there was much laughter all round!
