Samara & Andrew Goode

So we could not start this without some sort of silly pun, so here goes - this wedding was a good one… With that out of the rode, let’s get back to serious business of these two good people. Samara & Andrew met at a birthday party in 2014, and became friends first before taking it to the next level. This is one the of reasons why they know their relationship is so strong - they know that when everything falls down around them, their friendship will remain solid and true. And it’s this thought that will keep their marriage going for a long time to come.
They are quite a good match for each other, many people say, but when you ask them their favourite moments of each other, Samara recalled the weekend they began dating. They were staying at Jervis Bay and she vividly remembers lying down next to Andrew and staring into each others eyes. Andrew’s first favourite memory is of the two of them drinking beer in the beer halls of Munich…
Despite this, Andrew actually is romantic at heart, and has set the bar quite high for everyone else around him, due to the extravagance of his proposal. Where did he propose, you ask? On top of the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, France early 2018. Now, if you know what the lights do on this tower at night, ten you can imagine what a night it was when he proposed.
And reminding us how much of a good person, Andrew is, it’s the love he shares with Samara even when she is at her weakest, sick in bed, that is one of the many reasons why Samara knew it was true love. Especially if he can put up with her at her worst.
Their wedding day was just gorgeous, set amongst the beautiful surrounds of the Ginninderry Homestead, and held exactly 4 years and one day after they became a couple, they were married. The day threatened to rain, but instead gave us beautiful weather and light the whole afternoon. Here is just a selection of the images we took for them…
