We’ve known Samantha for a very long time now, and it was such a blessing and an honour to be asked to shoot her wedding to her knight in shining padded football gear, Blake. The two of them are quite the pair, but they are absolutely meant for each other!
They met through friends and they’ve practically been inseparable since. They have shared loves for camping, fishing and adventuring and their favourite time together is finding the time to lounge on a riverbank with their dogs and a couple of fishing rods. Basically, so long as the Navara is packed, dogs in tow, there is no destination they wouldn’t get themselves all tangled up in. Like, they love their 4WDing so much that they didn’t even care they were covered in mud when they walked through their local to pick up a few necessary items before heading home!
Samantha is a massive sports fan, and she found herself an athlete to run her through life, supporting her at every turn. They are now the proud parents to a beautiful little girl, Adelaide. One of the best parts of their life now. And watching Sam grow into her motherhood was spectacular. She is a true mother at heart, and is doing an amazing job with Adelaide, of course with the full support of Blake.
On their wedding day, you could not even tell Samantha was pregnant, she was such a trooper. We started with her at Ginninderry Homestead before they were married in front of their nearest and dearest. We then took them around to the beautiful creek behind the Homestead, before heading back to the party.
And as a special request for Sam, we even put a special new style together so that she could have the wedding of her dreams, looking the way she wanted, taken by the friend she wanted to be there on her day. Here’s a little peak at the new style and the images we shot for them on their special day.
