Pettra & Jace Iemma

Picture this. It’s the year 2012 when our lives were a little bit simpler! And in the backend of a Woolworths bakery, a beautiful girl was busily trying to get a beautiful boy’s attention by baking him cookies as large as she could make them without getting caught by her superiors! They do say the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and Pettra did just that. Over a period of time, she wore Jace down, and the rest they say is history!
Ok, to be fair, Jace had had his eye on Pettra as well, but he was just pretty good at hiding it! For Pettra, it was the way Jace smiles that caught her eye to begin with, and for Jace, it was Pettra’s amazing hair. In fact, he told everyone that on the day they married each other - was a very cute moment indeed!
It wasn’t until 2015 that they officially became a couple though, mostly due to a certain shyness of a certain person, we won’t say who!
But once they really got to know each other, they realised they had something amazing between them and nothing was going to stop them from journeying through life together!
For anyone who knows Pettra, they know that her little fluff ball is her life and Jace worked that out fairly early on. Said fluff ball requires looking after and daily walks. It wasn’t very long at all that Jace took on the role of the carer and walker for Pettra’s dog, and this was what sealed the deal for her. For Jace, he knew he was head over heels in love when Pettra still chose to come to the football with him even though someone she hated would be there the whole time - so it must have been true love for Jace that meant she was attending. That moment was the first of many, but it was what sealed the deal for Jace.
So the only thing left to do was to propose to Pettra. Jace did the thing we all hope most men will do, and traveled all the way to Queensland so that he could meet Pettra’s father. During their trip up north, he asked Pettra’s father for her hand in marriage, and almost as soon as he had gotten his approval, Jace dropped to one knee and proposed! (He isn’t waste any time there at all!)
On their wedding day, it was a little rainy, but the sun came out right at the right moment for us to witness their marriage as the last marriage that would take place at the Deck at Regatta Point, very special indeed! Here are just a few of the moments we captured from their day…
