Sometimes in life we meet and fall in love with people for various reasons, some of which we are aware of and some we are not.
In the case of Melissa & Daniel, there was a clear reason why they met 9 years ago, but for whatever reason, the timing wasn't right. Fast forward 4 years from then and you have the beginning of something truly special and wonderful, and they have some of their friends to thank for setting them up.
Melissa & Daniel have been together for just over 5 years, but being in the presence of them, you'd think that they'd been together only a short time, as their love for each other is still so evidently fresh. They share a great sense of humour together, and family is exceptionally important to the both of them.
One of their fondest memories is a weekend away in Kiama, NSW. They spent time hiking to waterfalls, walking amongst the tree tops, enjoying some delicious food and watching fireworks...but nothing compares to the day that Daniel proposed to Melissa.
Back in January 2016, whilst on holiday in Umina, NSW, Daniel popped the big question to Melissa, after seeking permission from Melissa's Mum & Dad. Daniel proposed to Melissa in a wonderfully romantic setting, overlooking the ocean.
Melissa & Daniel share a family holiday together along The Great Ocean Road as one of their favourite holiday destinations.
Every now and then, we get the opportunity to do what we refer to as a 'First Look', where the couple meet before getting married and enjoy some time just being together and getting some beautiful pre-ceremony photos. Melissa & Daniel had their First Look in a quiet location in the Sculpture Gardens near The National Gallery of Australia.
Their ceremony was held in the atrium of Rydges Capitol Hill, where they exchanged some beautiful words together, placed rings on each other's fingers and kissed for the first time as husband and wife.
Some family photos followed their ceremony, before comomencing their reception, which was filled with some fantastic speeches and a couple of fun games.
We wish Melissa & Daniel the very happiest of lives together!!
