Linda & David Burns
MARRIED 7 OCTOBER 2016
When Linda met David way back in 2005, little did they know what life was going to bring! David was a pre-press operator and about to move to a new position elsewhere when Linda joined the company as a trainee pre-press operator. They only spent a week together as he showed her the ropes of her new position before he took his new job. Even though he left, he saw something in Linda and remained in contact. Just over 11 years later, they are now husband and wife.
They have shared so many amazing memories in their journey together, from the time they spent living together here, to their time in Edinburgh, to the trips they took through Europe and Mexico, and of course, when David proposed to her, on the shores of Dove Lake, overlooked by the majestic Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. He knew her so well, he did so without a ring because he knew that her perfect ring was one that she would choose or design herself.
To Linda, David is a gentle soul, full of kindness and optimism. She fell in love with how well they fit with each other, and also his sense of humour. David found Linda captivating from the moment he met her - for him, it's the simple things from her sense of humour to her beautiful smile.
When we joined them for their day, we met them at the Hotel Kurrajong. After a short and sweet ceremony, we took them down to the Sculpture Gardens and James Turrell's Skyspace, then it was back to the Kurrajong to party the night away. Such a beautiful couple, and such an amazing love story.
