Leah & Sam Kooymans
MARRIED 30 SEPTEMBER 2017
When two people meet, become friends and then ultimately fall in love, there is what's called the 'honeymoon' period...but after more than 8 and a half years, Leah and Sam are still sharing this amazing period in their lives together. It's clearly evident in the way they look at each, so it's no wonder they finally tied the knot.
Leah & Sam met in college, through their good friend Emma and they've been inseparable ever since.
For Leah & Sam, there are many reasons why they fell in love. They can be themselves together, they make each other happy and they share many memories of laughing together, but the best reason of all is they are best friends and they are always supporting each other in every situation that is presented to them. Love for both of them has grown over time, and the more time they have spent together, the more they fell in love.
Not only do Leah & Sam share an amazing love for each other, but they also share a fond and funny memory when they were shopping in Coles one day. Sam decided to perform a weird yet funny march type walk down one of the aisles. To their surprise and amusement, a man appeared from around the corner, who seemed to not share this hilarious moment and continued to walk past with his head down.
Despite the many memories they have shared together, none are as favourite for Sam as when Leah gave birth to their gorgeous little girl, Ella. Leah's fondest memory is when Sam proposed to her when they were on holidays in Tuross back on 18th December, 2015. They decided to get takeway Chinese for dinner, and go to the beach to eat. Leah recalls as she was getting dinner out of the bag, she turned around to give Sam his plate and he was on one knee, proposing to Leah as the sun was setting behind them.
Apart from their holiday in Tuross, they also share their love of holday destinations such as Prague and Hawaii.
Leah & Sam were married at the stunningly picturesque location of Tuggeranong Homestead, and as you can see in their photos, it does not disappoint.
Their photos were taken on the grounds of the Homestead, which was a lot of fun, and they then enjoyed their reception in the barn with family and friends.
