Since a young age, Kristy’s twin brother has been really good friends with Brent, making Brent someone that Kristy has known for nearly her entire life. Which isn’t a bad thing, because she’s seen and heard a lot of who Brent is, meaning that their connection is deeper now than it may have been!
They’ve been together since 2015, and been engaged since mid 2016 - Brent just knew that Kristy was his soulmate! However, if you ask him, he’ll probably say something about one of Kristy’s features as to why he loves her so much! Kristy knows it’s the humour and kindness that Brent displays that is why she’s always going to be his, and we actually know Brent loves Kristy for her infectious laugh, and her ability to make everything better.
They’ve been together for such a long time now, they have SO many amazing stories to share, but one of their most favourite memories is the times they go up to their caravan, having little getaways where they get to just relax and be together. One of the funniest moments they’ve had together is a time when Kristy was just a little bit tipsy and thought she was truly glowing - Brent tells us it was just that the moon was reflecting off the pavement, lighting her up in a unique way!
Even though they’ve been together for such a long time, sometimes you don’t really see that it’s love that you feel for your partner until they do something so simple, and it just hits you that you love them. For Kirsty, it something as simple as Brent getting Kristy her favourite drink, without her asking. He just walked over, plonked down exactly what she needed, and it hit her just how much she loved him!
On their wedding day, we spent time with them both before they walked down the aisle on the greens of the Gibraltar Hotel in Bowral. We then took them for a little spin around the golf course before sending them off for an absolute party! Here is just a few what we caught from their day…
