Being “Facebook official” was very important, back when Facebook was the only social media platform that allowed you to declare your relationship status. And it was something that was very important to Jessica & Tristan, because the very same date that they became officially a couple of Facebook, 11 years later to the very day, was the day they got married.

Even better, their relationship is all thanks to a wonderful mutual friend who invited them both out to a night of ten-pin bowling, and further developed their growing friendship by forcing them to be in the same car ride home. How sweet!

Their love is a mixture of the things they love to do together, as well as a healthy infusion of the things they didn’t originally want to do, but both enjoy doing together, like the quieter indoors activities of reading and puzzles versus the more loud options of playing music, or outdoor options of big riding.

In fact, one of their most favourites memories together are the trips they’ve taken over the years to beautiful places such as Victoria, Sydney, and Quirindi in the NT.

They grew closer and closer until there was no denying they had fallen in love, and on a trip to Moss Vale. It was June 6th, 2020, and a time where it was still possible for some small travelling options. While having lunch in the park near the train station, Tristan just proposed out of nowhere, and not with the words you think. He simply held out the ring and said “I got this for you!” We all know what Jessica’s response was!

Their wedding day was a huge success, beating all the odds against the covid restrictions. And you can check out a few of the images we caught from their day below…
