It was a beautifully sunny afternoon on the rocks they had walked a million times before, in the location of their very first holiday: Ulladulla. But this time was different, this time, Bayden had a very special question to ask, and he hoped he would get the answer he so desperately desired. He dropped to one knee and got far more wet by being so close to the water’s edge than he expected, asked his fateful question, and as they say, the rest is history.
Dannielle & Bayden first met when they were working at the same swimming pool, both as swim instructors. They became friends well before they started dating, a true testament to the fact that love grows between soulmates.
The love they share together grew and grew as they share the same values and drives for what they want to achieve in the future and with a family. Plus, it’s a given that Bayden needs someone to help make him laugh and to enjoy life with, and Dannielle is particularly apt at that (even if it’s at Bayden’s expense!)
Such an example of a silly situation came from Bayden himself, where he managed to inexplicably split his pants exactly where we all hope not to do so. He was in a kids playground at the time, and the rip was loud enough to be heard by kids and families close by. Hilarity ensued Dannielle has never seen hi move so fast in his life. And of course, the story still makes them laugh to this day!
With a connection so effortless and easy, it’s no wonder they fell in love!
On their day, we spent time with them prior to the ceremony at the Margaret Whitlam Pavilion before taking them to Dunrossil Dr and the Cork Forrest for photos. Here is just a little look at some of the highlights from their day…
