Courtney & Shane Potter

Figtree Highschool is where it all began for Courtney & Shane. Whether it was a fateful gaze across the classroom or a few flirtatious meetings in the hallways, it’s clear their time together was just as much about each other as it was learning everything they could. We love the high school sweethearts that they’ve become, as they are still child-like now, over 10 years later.

Courtney reckons it was Shane’s dashing good looks, and Shane reckons it was Courtney’s love for sports that turned a friendship into more than that. But perhaps it was all the funny times they’ve since sent together learning to work with and ride very big, very scary ponies that may or may not have been described before today as “nutcases”, we know it was worth the wait it took to get us to their wedding day.

We al know horses are a huge deal for Courtney & Shane. So it should come as no surprise that their most favourite holiday destination is when they took the horses to Moruya. Nor should it be surprising that Courtney’s favourite memory of all time is when Shane agreed to 3 dogs and 2 horses. Their life has never been the same - just as it has never been the same since Shane’s favourite memory - his proposal to Courtney.

It was late December, 2019 and Shane took Courtney up to the Mt Keria Lookout. It was a beautiful location and the day was perfect. He was shaking like mad when he asked the question, and he’ll never forget the way she said “YES!”

On their wedding day, we spent time with them before their beautiful ceremony which was all held out at the Gibraltar Hotel in Bowral. We then took them around the adjoining golf course before boogie-ing the night away (as much as we could due to the restrictions anyway). Here are just a few of the shots we took on their day…
