Clare & Luke Nolan
MARRIED 2 DECEMBER 2016
You might say it was destiny, or that fate brought them together, as Clair & Luke met on their first day as graduates in the Australian Electoral Commission, 6 and a half years ago. It was only when Clair overheard one of the directors come over and introduce himself to Luke that she thought she should also make her presence known. They both spent the morning chatting to each other, creating a bond that would last for a lifetime!
Luke fell in love with Clair's beauty, her smile, her caring and giving nature, her amazing strong will, and her humour. Clair loves Luke's intelligence both intellectually and emotionally, and that he is a sweet-natured, grounded and overall good person. She also loves that, although he is younger than her, he is quite mature and makes her want to be the best that she can be. But, they both agree that they knew it was love from the moment they first kissed!
Luke proposed in June 2015 while Clair was helping her parents in Victoria. She walked out onto the balcony to see him walking towards the house. She was wearing her apron and holding a soup ladle as he rifled through his backpack. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee, box in hand, asking for her to marry him. Clair did not expect it to happen then at all, and was overwhelmed to discover that Luke had already asked her father for her hand in marriage, which in Clair's eyes, was the most perfect, romantic gesture.
They have had fantastic adventures together with their favourite being their trip across Tokyo, Kyoto, Tsumago-juku, and Osaka, Japan. Living up to their promises of adventure, they went skydiving on their honeymoon in Île des Pins, New Caledonia.
Their love for each each other shines through their smiles, which can be seen throughout every image taken on their wedding day. Their fun-loving nature, and happiness captured forever on their wedding day.
