Cathrine & Frank De Marco
MARRIED 19 MARCH 2022
This is one of this stories that are super cute - Frank was working for Cathrine’s father and as a result, spent a lot of time at Cathrine’s household, and so it was one of those slow burns of a friendship turned more than friendship as they started dating roughly two years after they first met.
That was back in 2017, and they haven’t looked back since!
It was the simple things, that were the most endearing for these two - Frank has the largest heart and is far smarter than he appears, and Cathrine is just a beautifully good person with a kind heart.
During the time they’ve been together, they both agree their favourite moments of each other come from the trip they took to America. But of course, the stories are ones that we really couldn’t provide you guys to read about - if you want t know about them, go ask them yourselves. ;)
Mind you, they did provide us with one hilarious memory they have that we can write about - Frank trying to explain how currency works to Cathrine. So, this is a story about Cathrine trying to understand that her Australian dollars were not the same as American dollars, and that on a daily basis, the value changed. They tell us that it took days for Cathrine to get it, and the both still roll around on the floor laughing about this exact issue!
And as for the proposal, Frank took Cathrine to a beautiful restaurant in Canberra - Courgette. And during the evening, he popped the question, and of course Cathrine said yes. However, Cathrine did point out that he didn’t get down on one knee - we’re sure he was at least sitting though. :D
On their wedding day, we followed them form their respective preparation locations to their ceremony at St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manuka. After a beautiful ceremony, we took them to Nishi and then to Dunrossil Dr before dropping them at the CSCC in Woden, and capturing the rest of their evening. Here are just a few of the images from their special day.
