Freshwater Senior Campus was a special place for Cassie & Ryan as that’s where they finished their high-school careers as best mates, but also where they first met! It’s a cute story though as they spent over 10 years apart, remaining distant friends until Ryan took the leap to reconnect. It was a few message back and forth until they finally met again at a local pub. As soon as Cassie’s eyes met his, she was instantly attracted, and from then on, they’ve been inseparable!
Some would like to say they’ve been in each other’s lives for over 14 years now, but Cassie & Ryan still maintain their relationship only truly began in that pub back in 2016.
They both agree that life together is far better than life apart as they always have such a good time together, supporting one another to be the best version of themselves. They have had so many amazing adventures together and even when they’re just doing “normal life” they’re happy.
These adventures include going to Dee Why and watching Ryan teaching family friends to swim, as well as visiting Phnom Penh, Cambodia and watching Cassie take in all the new sights, sounds and smells of her very first “non-Western” holiday, especially when riding a Tuk-Tuk, eyes darting around in wonder…
Cassie recalls one adventure where they were on their way to Tasmania and while having breakfast at the airport, a bacon and egg panini attacked poor Ryan, leaving him a little “yellow-faced”…
On their wedding day, we spent time with both Ryan & Cassie separately out in Murrumbateman, first at the Abode hotel, and then at a farm before we had them meet at the Shaw Vineyard so that they could tie the knot. This is just a selection of the images from their day.
