Amy & Jason Keni
MARRIED 2 MARCH 2019
It has been said the Amy & Jason could not be more opposite to each other, especially in terms of their backgrounds. But if you were to ever meet them, you’d understand why they are so inseparable.
Amy is a beautiful soul with so much to give to everyone around her, and she has remained that way through 8 years of a relationship with Jason, through 3 amazing children and will clearly remain the calm to his storm for the rest of eternity.
Jason is the happiest man we have met to date, and his laughter is so infectious, once he starts laughing you join in and then forget why you were laughing because the laughter itself is now life. But he is the one man in the world who has always been able to provide Amy with the confidence she needs, all while reminding her on a daily basis that she is beautiful just as she is.
Amy & Jason fell in love with each other’s personalities the moment they met, but that love grew into something else far deeper and stronger when they became parents. Watching each other be parents makes them a stronger couple, and better people, creating a bond so strong, it will never waver.
They are very family oriented, visiting family all around the world when they have the chance, as if the Fijian way of life, and they love every moment of family they can get.
But, family aside, one of the cutest memories they have is when Jason won an oversized teddy bear for Amy during an evening at an arcade. They took him home and named him Keni Bear. Keni Bear has stayed with them ever since, and is still very much a part of their own little family unit to this day, making it one of the most special presents and memories.
On their wedding day, we spent time with Jason at his home, and Amy at the Burbury Apartments getting ready before sending them down the aisle at the All Saints Anglican Church in Ainslie. They walked over mats that were hand woven and brought back from Fiji, while Jason wore the traditional Fijian ‘costume’. We spent time afterwards in Skyspace and then Dunrossil Dr before celebrating their marriage with all their friends and family at the Southern Cross Club, Woden. Here is just a few of the memories from their day…
